Superfoods, how do I use them?

We often get this question when we stand somewhere with our products.

Our superfoods consist of a fine powder that can easily be mixed with your food. Different flavours and different uses.

Aguaje, gives strength to women through phyto estrogen. CAMU CAMU, our vitamin C bomb. Purple Corn, is widely used in South America the smell you will immediately recognise.

White, Red and Black Macca, gives energy and helps general health.

If you want to take it without mixing it with food, you can do so by mixing a spoonful of powder with lukewarm water and drinking.

Mix the powder into your smoothie, cereal, yoghurt or your meal.

You can also use it in recipes. Below we have an example of a recipe that we prepare ourselves regularly.

These bars are ideal if you are active, they give energy and are powerful. Delicious while running, cycling or in the gym.

The Maca gives energy and the Lucuma is a sweetener.

Maca bars

200 g Figs or dates

1 cup oatmeal

2 tablespoons Maca

2 tablespoons Lucuma

2 tablespoons chia seeds

2 tablespoons linseed

2 tablespoons hemp seeds

3 tablespoons coconut oil

Almond or coconut milk to thin the consistency.

Blend all dry ingredients until smooth and add coconut oil, dates or figs (you can use both) and milk to thin the mixture if needed.

Divide the semi-fat mixture into a small baking dish and leave to set in the fridge. Cut into cubes. And store in the fridge or freezer.

Enjoy.
